April Birchbox Review

Monday, 9 May 2016
Ever since I received my first ever Birchbox in April I have been hyped to know what I will have in following boxes. So i thought, what better to do than review every box every month?! Let's get to it!

First of all, if you have never heard about Birchbox, it is basically sells health and beauty products. There is a subscription service, which I signed up for monthly for £10 per month and they send you samples, usually 5/6. I like this as I get to try a range of products which I wouldn't usually try because of the £££££. Although, having tried the samples, there is definitely some products I would definitely splurge on because they are that amazing! Also, another thing I like about Birchbox is the fact that not every box that is sent out is the same. For example, I may have different products to someone else who's had the same month box, or we may have the same or some different.

Last month, Birchbox teamed up with Rifle Paper Co to have this gorgeous designed box! I don't know about you, but first impressions count, and Birchbox definitely hit the spot. I mean, just look how gorgeous it is, do you agree?

Then there was this bag of goodies. I have to say, I was not fussed on the colour of the bag, or am I being to fussy??

Benefit Dew The Hoola

The first thing I reached for was the Benefit Dew The Hoola. At first, we did not get along, at all. every time I was using it on my cheekbones it was creating a white line, in other words, taking my foundation off! No matter how many tutorials I watched, Dew The Hoola just did not like my foundation. BUT, after a while I just stopped using a brush and I tried using it with a beauty blender and what a wonderful outcome. Now, I love this product and I don't want it to run out, but I suppose it will at some point. PS: The smell is absolutely amazing!!!! I feel like I'm walking on sunshine!

RRP - £22.50                 Star Rating: ★★★★                 Would I buy full sized product - Yes

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner

Forever I have hated pencil eyeliners because they smudge so easy and I'm not the kind of gal who likes to look like I've been crying for 5 months or looks like I should be with all the pandas in the zoo. Although, what caught my eye the most is the design of this eyeliner as I though all the golden polka dots were mega cute. So, of course I tried it out, and it is the best thing pencil eyeliner I have ever come across, sometimes I have doubts and think it is better than my beloved Soap and Glory pen eyeliner. This eyeliner literally lasts all day!

                                          RRP - £11                 Star Rating: ★★★★
Would I buy full sized product - Yes

If I'm honest, I am not extremely fussed on this product, however I have only used it twice. It just seems to me like another oil that makes my skin too oily and causes spots to pop out everywhere - ew

RRP - £17                 Star Rating: ★★                 Would I buy full sized product - No

I have a hard time separating myself from my amazing OGX shampoo's and conditioner's, but I was actually impressed with this duo. They smell lovely and they definitely made my hair feel soft and more refreshed!

RRP - £12 & £11.50                Star Rating: ★              Would I buy full sized product - Probably not

If you're like me and get really bad, dry, painful and ugly feet, then you know how hard it is to get rid of the problem. All my life I have suffered with dry feet and they tend to go really bad when it is either very very cold or very very warm. Although, last year my feet were actually fine - so maybe the problem has gone? Anyway, this foot cream is really nice and soothing, a bit like hand cream. I don't like feet at all though, and I struggle to massage stuff into my feet because it is just disgusting.. So I would only really use this product if I really had to, otherwise I would just leave my feet alone.

RRP - £12                Star Rating: ★                 Would I buy full sized product - Maybe

There you go, that's my April Birchbox! Do you have or have you tried any of these products? What's your opinion? Did you have different products in your April Birchbox? I would love to know!
